Drew Jacobson is the man. He’s a friend that I look up to and recently had the 2023 Grand Champion Market Steer at the Iowa Beef Expo. Drew dives into his showing career, what he’s currently got on feed and his outlook on the industry.
Hi, I'm Joe!
I'm 11 years old, live in Iowa and love showing livestock. My parents have always listened to podcasts in the truck, so I naturally got hooked. However, it wasn't until I was at a Walker Hayes/Parmalee concert in the fall of 2022, when I caught the ambition to start a podcast.
I was in front row with my friend Jace and during the Parmalee concert, the lead singer handed me his electric guitar. After that night, I was contacted by two different radio stations and was able to be interviewed on air. The radio personalities showed me around the station and their equipment. From there, I thought how fun would it be to talk about livestock with my friends on a podcast?
And that's how The Joe Show started.
